Expectations and tasks

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations of our growing $15M+ US subsidiary. This critical role ensures the integrity of financial reporting, manages daily accounting activities, and supports strategic financial planning.

The ideal candidate combines strong accounting expertise and financial acumen with overall responsibility for the finance practice, providing functional leadership and subject matter guidance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in both local and group ledgers.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Provide functional leadership for the finance practice, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with executive leadership to deliver financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to support operational needs.
